Yard waste is typically picked up on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month. Please check the calendar on the home page to see if there are any changes to these dates. Please help the town to provide quicker service by
placing leaves, pine straw, and pine cones near the curbside. Yard debris is not collected
with the trash truck, so please do not use the town-issued trash carts to collect your debris. Any limbs should be separated from all other debris and placed at curbside also. Limbs should be no more than 4 feet in length in order to be picked up.
The Town does not pick up bulk items such as white goods, furniture, air conditioners, and recyclable electronics (i.e., TV's or vacuum cleaners). Theses items can be taken to the Nash County Landfill at 3057 Duke Rd, Nashville, NC 27856. Any other questions about what is permitted in the landfill can be directed to the Nash County Solid Waste offices at (252) 459-9899 or via Nash County's website http://www.co.nash.nc.us/.
Town of Bailey uses Waste Industries as it's recyclable waste
collections provider. There is no curbside pickup for this service. A
recyclable bin is located off the alley way of Jackson St and Vance St. The fee for
this service is $1.00 each month. The following items are only
permitted to be placed into this bin: newspaper, glass, aluminum and bi-metal cans, plastic containers, and mixed paper. No household garbage, motor oil or pesticide containers, appliances, or corrugated cardboard are permitted. This container is for the Town of Bailey residents only. VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED!
